My husband received a grant from Admiral F. Hoffmann so that he can get the workout equipment that he needs to continue his PT at home. We were so excited when we heard that he was accepted and that he would be coming out here to give it to us. Bryan thought that he was coming on the 1st so I had time to get the house in order after my girls trip to the beach. Well he called this morning at 10:30 and said he was 2 hours away. Bryan was on his way back to return the rental bobcat. I was frantic. Left work and came home and cleaned like a crazy lady. Luckily I had about an hour to clean up.
It was so nice to meet the Admiral and his wife. They were so kind. His grants are funded through private donations from very wealthy business men. We are so thankful that Bryan got this part of his life back. We can't wait to pick out his customized workout equipment and see if we can't advance his range of motion.

Girls Beach trip
I went on a girls beach trip to Hilton Head Island with three amazing girls from work. One of my friends owns the condo so we didn't have to pay for that. We had an amazing time. They are such a great group of girls. No drama, no attitude and we get along so well.
The first day there it was pretty cool so we lounged around and got some groceries, etc. The second day Friday we walked the beach and headed to Savannah. We ate at Paula Deens and it was the most amazing food I have ever had. The chicken pot pie was to die for. Then we headed to see Nights in Rodanthe and cried our eyes out. Then drove around Savannah looking at all the amazing houses. After that we did a ghost tour and that was so fun learning about the history of the city. It was also a little creepy.
Saturday we spent the day on the beach and headed to Harbor Town for dinner. It was a beautiful night with a beautiful sunset. Sunday we layed on the beach for a couple of hours and then headed home. I had a blast and have never ever laughed as hard as I did in those 4 days.

CRSC and lack of payment
We got home from Nashville on Sunday and we got a letter from CRSC. I was so excited and was hoping to hear he was eligible and was going to start receiving payments soon so I can go back to school. Yes he is eligible but they aren't going to start payments until he get's his FINAL rating from the VA. He only has 100% pre-stabilization rating right now and since he has PTSD and TBI than they won't do his final rating until they think he has stabilized and they will re-evaluate. Therefore it could be another year or two before he gets his final rating. Of course they will back pay from the date he applied, I just wish that we could have been making interest off those payments years before. I am so sick of all of this.
